After you sign-up with Octopus Bridge, you will be given the login details. Login details are your Username and Password. You can login to your account at http://gui.octopusbridge.com/octopus
Once you login to Octopus Bridge using your login details, you are automatically redirected to the Product Management tab where you will be able to see all the items uploaded from the POS.
You can search for a specific item with the following search criteria:
If Product items are not shown after doing search, it means that the product item is not yet synced from the POS. Also, make sure that in searching items, you are using the correct Item SKU or Parent SKU. Example below shows that item is not yet found in Octopus Bridge.
Shopping Cart Module
Once you have selected and added your product items to a specific Shopping cart module or Marketplace module ‘bucket’, they will start appearing under the respective bucket. Images are shown below.

Order Search
You can search for a specific order with the following search criteria:
All Orders:
Order Date: The date and time when the order was downloaded
Channel Mgr Order #: Each order, when downloaded into Octopus, is given an Octopus order number. This number is also pushed to the point of sale system for reference.
Marketplace Order #: This is the order number received from your website or marketplace. The number is prefixed by the platform abbreviation for easy reference. This number is also downloaded into the point of sale system.
Customer Bill To and Customer Ship-To Details are received from the website.
Total: The total amount of the order.
Status: Depending on where the order is coming from, it would be either in Pending/Processing or Paid status. Orders coming from marketplaces are marked Paid as they are already paid for. Orders coming from websites built on Magneto/Woo/etc might be marked as Processing depending on how the website is set up.
Tracking: This feature is only applicable for Offline POSs, such as RetailPro, RMS etc. Octopus Plugin updates the Tracking Number on our system generated by the Shipping company of the Merchant. It also works for the merchants, who uses Ship Station and Ship Work integration with Octopus.
Action: When orders are downloaded from website into Octopus, all items must match with items uploaded from the POS. For example, if an ordered item has a different SKU than what was uploaded from POS, the order will NOT be downloaded. In such cases, Edit link will show. This allows you to Edit the order and fix the SKU number so that it matches with one of the existing items. After the SKU has been fixed, the order would download during the next sync cycle. Orders not showing Edit indicates that the orders have been downloaded into POS and cannot be edited.
Page Tab: You can navigate to a particular page by clicking on that particular page number.
Downloading Orders
Orders are downloaded automatically from the E-commerce platform to Octopus on a scheduled basis. You can also manually download orders from a specific E-commerce platform. Just click on the orders tab in the Shopping cart module you selected then click on the ‘Download orders from Shopify’ button.
In order details page, you can view all the order information downloaded from the e-commerce platform to Octopus.

Installing Octopus Link
Octopus Link (also referred to as “integrator”) offers a complete interface to integrate your Bepoz point of sale system with Octopus.
The installation process is described below:
1. Once you unzip the setup package, you will get two files – lic and OctopusLink.msi. Please click on the OctopusLink.msifile and you will be taken to the Octopus Setup Wizard.
2. Once Octopus Setup Wizard opens, Click Next.
3. Click on Browse and select the file location where Octopus Link is to be installed. After selecting file location click Next to start the installation.
4. Once the installation is complete, click Close.
5. You should have an Octopus Plug-in icon your desktop.
6. Click on the icon to open User Authentication. Type in your Username, Password and click Browse to enter the License key provided and click Continue. User authentication information should have already been provided to you by the support team.
7. Enter the Database Information for Bepoz and Click Save Database Information. You may need to ask your Bepoz administrator if you don’t have the login details.
Configuration Settings
1. Access the Octopus plugin from the Taskbar menu. Right click on the yellow Octopus icon and it will display a few options. Click on Configuration Settings.
2. Scheduler settings can be Set/Changed under the Options This determines how often your items are updated and orders are downloaded.
3. Once you have set-up the Scheduler, go to the Addresses tab to install, start or stop the service. (Always perform this step after you set the schedulerand Save Settings)
After installing the service, please click on Save Settings.
Note: The URLs displayed in this tab are automatically populated through your license file and you should not change any of these unless explicitly advised to do so.
4. Mappings tab allows you to map POS fields with website. For now, please leave it as default.
Finally, once you Save Settings please right click the Octopus Link icon on your system tray, click exit and restart Octopus from your desktop or Start menu.
Enabling Items for Web in Bepoz
1. Go to store operation manager by clicking on the Store Operations Manager Icon on the desktop and login by providing User ID and Password.
2. Go to Database >>Click On Items
3. Now select the item you wish to web enable
4. Click on Properties button to open the properties of the selected item.Now Click on Options tab on the Item Properties window
5. Check the box next to Item is available on the website and press Ok to close Item Properties.
Uploading Inventory
1. Right Click Octopus link in the System Tray and click on Manage Inventory.
2. Click on Upload Inventory in the Web Integrator Window to upload the web enabled Item to the e-Store.

Next, make sure to select ‘I want to give a developer access to my Amazon seller account with MWS’. Type in Developer’s Name Octopus then enters the Developer Account number.

Once logged in to Octopus, go to Setting. Credentials are generated from the eBay Developers Program. After generating credentials, fill up ebay details on this page.
Once you click on eBay marketplace, you will be routed to Ebay products page. This is where you can view all the products that you pushed from Product management.
1. You can check the box/es to the right to select specific item/s to publish.
2. Item per Page: Clicking this will create a drop-down box where you can select how many product items to be displayed per page.
3. Search tab: This tab allows you to search a specific item by entering the product SKU or keyword. It also displays how many items are in Ebay.
4. Add Product to eBay: This button allows you to add products to ebay Marketplace.
5. Edit/Publish Product: Click to edit or update product information before publishing to ebay. You can set the Shipping profile, Return Policy profile and Category from here.
1. eBay Item ID: You can see Item ID if a product is successfully uploaded to eBay.
2. Shipping Profile You can select a profile by clicking on the drop-down box base on the profile you created.
3. Return Policy Profile You can select a profile by clicking on the drop-down box base on the profile you created.
4. You can select a Category, basing on the added categories from Map Category section.
You can manually download orders from eBay on a specific date period. Just type in the ‘Date From’ and ‘Date To’ then click the Download Order button.
Categories tab is where you can add categories, assign categories to products and map categories with POS categories. It has four subsections: Master categories, Map categories, Update Product Categories, and Ebay Category Fields.
You can search for a specific category and set certain categories or subcategories in the Octopus. Once you select and click in the box, thecategory will be added to Map Categories section under Ebay categories.
Before items can be published on ebay, we must map source department/category structure to that of ebay category structure. Some ebay categories have unique requirements. So, they must be met before items can be published.
1. Source Categories: Left hand side shows POS category structure.
2. eBay Categories: Right side shows Ebay categories added from the Master categories.
3. You can show number of entries by clicking on the drop-down menu.
4. Click on the Mapped Categories drop-down menu to select Unmapped Categories. This will show a list of all Source Categories that need to be mapped with ebay. For each Source Category on left hand side, choose an appropriate ebay Category from the drop down.
1. You can search product item by typing in Name, SKU and Parent SKU.
2. Select Category available categories on the drop-down menu then Click Update Products Category.
3. Check the box to select item/s to update.
You can easily setup eBay shipping service for Domestic, International shipping, and exclude particular location that is out of your shipment zone. Also, you can setup eBay shipping package type, weight, originating postal code, sales tax, and handling & shipping cost.
If you have different shipping profile based on product then you can easily add a new eBay shipping profile for any shipping provider and you can assign that profile to a particular product. Just add your profile name and select/add the necessary parameters for your shipping profile.
Here you can manage your all eBay shipping profile quickly. Just click on the “edit” option and make any changes to the shipping profile.
If you accept the return then just select the “Return Accepted” option and opt your return rules.
And if you not accept any return. Just select the ” No Return Accepted” option and press on the save button.
If you have multiple return types based on products then you can add a new profile by creating a profile name, then set up the necessary parameters. Default profile option allows you to set all Product items on eBay on a specified Return Policy Profile. You can assign that profile to a particular product.
If No Returns Accepted, click to select. To learn more, click on ‘Learn More’ link. This will bring you to eBay FAQ section.
If you want to make any changes in your return rules the just click on the edit option to make changes.
Here you can select the eBay product listing template. Just enter your template name, select your relevant product category and check the box and then press on save template button.
This is where you can decide what information of a Product item you want to send to Ebay from Octopus. On right hand side you have all fields coming from your POS and you can send them into required field by mapping them with the proper Ebay field.
This module allows you to define additional rules that make ebay listings more user friendly and search friendly. You can also define a Quantity Rule to prevent overselling. Merchant can set various rules before publishing the product data into Ebay.
1. Custom Title: The Product Name can be edited and made Search Engine friendly. You can either use the Product Description as it is, coming from your source OR you can further modify it. Use the Add Fields button to combine fields and add separators to make the product name unique.
2. Stock Rule: The quantity inserted in the box will be reduced from the Product Management stock. For example: In Product Management, if total quantity of an item is 50 and you inserted 10 in the ‘Enter Value’ field; in Ebay, the quantity of the item will be shown as 40.
3. Extended Description: Extended Description can be created here. The extended description is appended to Product Description (Product Title) of each item when sent to ebay.
4. Payment Instructions: create simple instructions on how to make payments.
5. SKU pre-checking: If this option is check, upload process will check SKU on ebay first then it will create new item or update the existing one. If this is unchecked, and have the same SKU on ebay, we will get an error from ebay.
6. Currency Type: select currency type to use.

Few important reminders in publishing to eBay:
1. Item name must present.
2. Image must present with items.
3. Stock should not 0 in all variations of the item.
4. eBay will send an item id and the green button will appear next to product SKU number when an item will be listed in eBay.
5. Ebay id will be same for all items under the same parent SKU.
6. Once item is added to Ebay from ebay bucket, item end listing is possible only from the merchant’s eBay account.
In case of invalid item UPC number, Octopus will give an error of invalid UPC while pushing them from eBay bucket.
