Company and The Challenges

Exclusive Brands International SA (EBI SA) is a Retail/Wholesale company operating stores in different countries across Latin America and the Caribbean Islands. The company is servicing multiple wholesale accounts in the same region.

Due to Covid-19, the company was forced to take its business online as stores in Panama were fully shut from March 2020 to September 2020. During this period, servicing customers via WhatsApp were very limited and time consuming.  The company wanted to offer its customers the full breathe of products it has in stores and the only way was to go online with a multi-brand site which is called www.myexclusivebrands.com.

How did you first hear about our integration services?
We first heard about 24Seven Commerce via our Retail Pro Business Partner, Irving Bennett who made the introductory call and got the ball rolling.

What made our solution stand out over others that you researched? What feature of our product was most appealing?
The fact that it connected directly to our Retail Pro store inventories and we could reflect real-time inventories 24/7. All customer information would flow from the online store to our POS seamlessly.

How was your experience with our team while doing installation and training?
Installation was very smooth even though certain changes were required, but support staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and made the process great.

How has our solution helped you since implementation? Has this solution saved your money and/or increased productivity?
I can’t imagine working without Octopus, especially, now considering expansion into other countries.

Can you share any metrics/KPIs that show the success you have enjoyed with our integration service?
Since we started with Octopus, from Day 1 I don’t have a comparison point, but compared to the other solutions of suggesting daily uploads of ‘On Hand’ inventories and so on, I’m sure 90% of my time is saved.

Octopus Bridge | Helping in Business Expansion

What plans do you have to use Octopus Bridge in the future? Do you plan to add more store locations and/or ecommerce sales channels like Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, etc?
We are in the process of translation of the websites to continue the expansion of our online store into the countries where we already operate physical stores like Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, etc.
