Integration

Tally ERP 9 integration with eCommerce website helps retailers to bridge the gap between these two different applications. With integration, retailers can share and update web inventory and customer data in nearly real time scenario. Integration with TallyERP 9 enables retailers to automatically upload and update the web store with inventory data such as products, prices and quantity. Integration enables web store to pass completed orders and customer information to Tally ERP 9.

This integration eliminates the need to update both the platforms individually. This means that TallyERP based inventory management system and the web store can be updated simultaneously. Integration of Tally ERP 9 and online store is used to share and update information on both the platforms. All the products related information such as products, their images, quantity, product attributes are transferred and uploaded in the web store via this Octopus Channel. Integration process of Tally.ERP 9 with Online Store

Uploading:

24Seven Link takes product information including images, product variants, pricing details, discounts etc. from Tally.ERP 9 and convert those to a format readable by the online store (XML feed). The application interacts only with the product information section without intervening in other operations anywhere in the entire system.

Product details are fed to the Ecommerce online store; new products are added and any existing product is updated. The online store’s inventory is updated and the visitors get to see the latest product catalog. The activity takes place in one single go. In other words, hundreds of products are updated almost instantly in one single action.

Downloading:

24Seven Link® communicates once again with the online store and ‘asks’ if there is any fresh order or not there. If it finds new orders in the online store system, it downloads the complete order information including the product(s) purchased in that order with quantity and variants, shipping information, order amount, customer information and everything else included in the order. A unique reference number as generated at the online store identifies each order. The entire process can be either pre-scheduled, which means 24Seven Link can be set to download orders AUTOMATICALLY after definite intervals (staring from 30 seconds to several hours) or can be done manually using the “Download Orders” button.

Scheduling of process:

Retailers can schedule the process of updating product catalogue and order information on both Tally.ERP 9 and the web store on a real time basis. They can set the frequency with which this information can be updated. These update processes can be scheduled on an hourly or daily basis.
